Vice Ganda wishes to start 2012 on a positive note by reconciling with fellow comedian Ai Ai delas Alas.
Mas maganda kung magkakaibigan tayong lahat,” he told “TV Patrol” in an interview, Jan. 9.
He, however, said in a separate ABS-CBN News article that he has yet to talk with the Comedy Concert Queen.
“Hindi pa kami nagkikita ulit...” the “Showtime” judge was quoted to have said.
Vice no longer wishes to add to what he already vented out on “The Buzz” in his taped interview aired New Year’s Day, where he confirmed reports that he and Ai Ai gave each other the cold shoulder at an event.
Amid the purported criticism he got because of the issue, Vice appealed to everyone not to jump into conclusions.
Another issue that Vice clarified is his supposed show in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates this month. According to the comedian, he’s scheduled to perform in the said city in March and not this month.
“Wala pong magaganap na show [ngayong buwan]. Kung may mga nagbenta po sa inyo ng ticket ay habulin niyo,” he said on the same “TV Patrol” report.
Life goes on for Vice following the passing of his beloved grandmother, Rosita Borja, last Dec. 31. He resumed work last Jan. 7 through a show at Clark, Pampanga, and the first-ever live episode of “Gandang Gabi Vice” last Jan. 8.
Vice believes that his “lola” is watching over him.
“May sarili akong angel, may sarili akong star. ‘yan ‘yung lola ko,” he said with a sad smile.
